Laying a solid foundation is essential to the ultimate success of your project. This is true
not only in the construction trade, but also in building a successful digital portrait studio.
This class will provide just that – a solid foundation in understanding the key elements of
digital photography combined with essential knowledge that is needed
to create a well done professional portrait.
No longer will you need to look at your digital camera and be
overwhelmed by all of the buttons, settings and messages or use the “wing-it”
approach todigital photography.
Through Don’s easy-to-understand style of teaching, the student of
this class will gain a working-level understanding of: white balance, histograms, raw files
and conversion, and file management combined with light and learning to see, studio and
location lighting, lighting for portraiture, & proper posing.
The emphasis of this class will be hands-on learning
and enlightenment so that students can go home and immediately
implement these things at their own studios!
This course will enable the new or “new to digital” photographer to move forward with
confidence as they reach toward the next level in their portrait business.
