Lou started his photography career part time in 1980. He has always had a passion for photography and decided to go full time with his wife, Theresa, in 1983. Their first studio was less than 800 sq ft and the business has now grown to a 5200 sq ft full service studio.
His many achievements have included:
· Master of Photography Degree 1995
· Craftsman Degree 1996
· Illinois Top Ten Photographer 2001-2006
· Over 20 Loan Prints
· Many Fuji Masterpiece Awards
· Ill Best Black &White print 5 consecutive years
· PPA Photographer of the Year National Level 2005
· PPA Photographer of the Year Gold Level 2006
· Print title “The Holocaust Exhibit” Accepted and displayed at the “Photography Hall of Fame” in Oklahoma City
· Taught several workshops for the PPA National Conventions

Lou has traveled throughout the United States and Canada, teaching black and white Hollywood style lighting techniques.
